Alicia Baer is the owner of Carefree Wellness & Aesthetics, where her passion for helping others look and feel their best is at the heart of everything she does. She created Carefree Wellness & Aesthetics to be more than a traditional medspa—a welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and confident in the care they receive.
Alicia is dedicated to providing a personalized experience and offering high-quality wellness and aesthetic services that help each client feel refreshed, empowered, and confident. She takes pride in building genuine relationships with clients and creating an environment where beauty, wellness, and self-care come together.
Alicia also brings 17 years of healthcare management experience through her leadership role at Alliance Medical Clinic. Her extensive background in healthcare operations, patient service, and team leadership has shaped her commitment to providing an exceptional client experience built on trust, quality, and genuine care.
Brittany Johnson, LE, CLT, MA
Licensed Esthetician & Certified Laser Technician
Brittany began her career as a medical assistant, where she discovered her passion for caring for others and helping people feel their best. After several years in healthcare, her love of skincare inspired her to become a licensed esthetician, allowing her to combine her medical background with her passion for aesthetics and corrective skincare.
At Carefree Wellness & Aesthetics, Brittany specializes in complexion correction and advanced skincare. She has a particular passion for microneedling, laser resurfacing, and customized corrective treatments. Brittany takes the time to get to know each client, understand their unique skin concerns, and create a personalized treatment plan to help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their skincare journey.
Her goal is for every client to leave her treatment room not only seeing a difference in their skin, but also feeling a difference in themselves.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys hiking, golfing, paddleboarding, and soaking up the Arizona sunshine. Her skincare routine is one of her favorite forms of self-care because she believes that taking care of your skin is an important part of taking care of yourself.
Angela Childs, FNP, PMHNP
Medical Director & Aesthetic Injector
Angela Childs is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive medical experience and a whole-person approach to Carefree Wellness & Aesthetics.
As both Medical Director and an aesthetic injector, Angela provides personalized injectable treatments designed to enhance each client’s natural features and help them feel refreshed and confident. She also provides medical consultations for the practice’s weight-management and IV therapy programs, ensuring that each client receives safe, thoughtful, and individualized care.
Angela believes that looking and feeling your best are closely connected. She takes the time to understand each client’s concerns, answer questions, and create a treatment plan aligned with their personal aesthetic and wellness goals. Her compassionate, detail-oriented approach helps clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their experience.
Angela’s goal is to help every client achieve natural-looking results and feel like the healthiest, happiest, and most confident version of themselves.
